Endurance sports registration platform njuko is working with the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) to ‘drive registration innovation’.
The first event where the two organisations are working together is the 2023 PTO Asian Open being held in the city-state of Singapore on August 19-20. This marks the first outing for the PTO Tour in Asia.
With the Marina Bay Financial District hosting the race, the swim location and city circuit course led to general registrations selling out in just four days.
“It’s been great to get our work with njuko off to a positive start,” said PTO CEO Sam Renouf. “We sensed there would be strong interest in the PTO Asian Open age-group 100km race, but the speed with which general registrations have sold out is faster than we could have expected and a great testament to Singapore as a world class location for triathlon.
“Given the demand for the triathlon, we have now also opened entries for two duathlon events, which are selling fast through njuko.
“We’re also working closely with our partners on the ground in Singapore to create more race opportunities for amateur and everyday sports enthusiasts to get involved in August – and will release details for these opportunities as soon as possible.”
Together, njuko and PTO have used a variety of features from the njuko store of over 350 modules – including, conditional workflow steps, document validation, dynamic dashboard widgets, logically interchanging team positions, and variable pricing.
“The flexibility offered by njuko in terms of event setup, customisation options and participant management is second to none,” said PTO Digital Product Manager, Tom Ballard.
“We had some really complex requirements for the PTO Asian Open, and njuko handled everything we threw at it.”
njuko is the platform of choice for other triathlon events such as the London Triathlon, Blenheim Triathlon, Tralee Triathlon Club, Schull Triathlon Club and more. The company adds that it is using advanced group management, invitations, and white label branding to ensure agile registration options.
Pierre Duvelleroy, CEO and founder of njuko said “PTO are an ideal client for us: multi-currency, language and an international footprint that derives complexity and uniqueness in what they need – we love a challenge!
“We look forward to developing some of the ideas their team have come up with to support new initiatives in 2023.”
