COROS Wearables has launched the APEX 2 Pro Chamonix Edition, a 3000-unit limited edition colourway that… ‘recognises one of the greatest places on earth to train and trail-blaze.’
Known as a spiritual home of trail running and a gateway to the terrain of Mont Blanc, Chamonix is also home to the world-renowned UTMB race, where COROS pro athlete Kilian Jornet has taken multiple wins.
In addition, COROS notes that its users have now clocked in over 1 million metres of vertical ascent in Chamonix.

The UTMB World Series Finals will be held at UTMB Mont-Blanc (taking in France, Italy and Switzerland), on August 28 to September 3, 2023.
COROS will also be attending UTMB 2023 in Chamonix, where its pro athletes, including Kilian Jornet, Petter Engdahl, Ludovic Pommeret, Lucy Bartholomew, Jon Albon, Sage Canaday and more, will be racing.
In addition, COROS will have a customer-facing booth at UTMB for the entirety of the event, hosting live Q&A sessions with Emelie Forsberg, Tim Tollefson, Antonio Martinez, and more.
The APEX 2 Pro Chamonix Edition features COROS’ global offline mapping, checkpoints, and custom route planning so users can access navigation information in the most remote locations. The digital dial on the APEX 2 Pro Chamonix Edition makes it easy to zoom in and out of the map, while the touchscreen allows for the dragging of the map with a finger.
The APEX 2 Pro Chamonix Edition watch retails at US$449, £449 and €499.
