This past weekend Sepp Kuss had a historic win at La Vuelta España, after a season of cycling in three grand tours.
Kuss has been tracking and sharing his efforts on Strava – which has now granted him yet another title, the professional cyclist who has achieved the most KOMs on the platform, 808 in total.
He also accumulated more than 29,000km and almost 900hrs (more than 37 days) on the bike in activities uploaded to Strava.
La Vuelta
La Vuelta in Spain stands out, where Sepp Kuss completed a high-level escape and then took the lead a few stages later.
Giro d’Italia
On stage 16 of the Giro d’Italia with the finish on Monte Bondone, Kuss managed to push Roglič to third place and placed 5th with a total of 11 new KOMs.
Tour de France
Finally, on stage 14 of the Tour de France Sepp Kuss also achieved a creditable fifth place in the stage, leading his team leader Vingegaard to third place. In that stage, of more than 4,000m+, he obtained 15 new KOMs.
