Technogym has been appointed the Official Supplier of Fitness Equipment for IRONMAN Poland. As part of the partnership, the indoor fitness brand is planning a number of activations, including training sessions at a new Technogym showroom in Warsaw.
The tie-up with IRONMAN in Poland is for an initial year with an option to extend.
“We are very happy to establish this cooperation,” said Michał Drelich, director at IRONMAN Poland. “Our paths with the Technogym brand have been crossing for many years.
“Together we organize the Indoor Triathlon Series. We know that Technogym fitness equipment is the absolute top. The company sets trends and introduces innovative solutions that not only facilitate home training, but also make it more enjoyable.”
Dominik Śliwowski, General Manager of Technogym in Poland, said “For almost 40 years, Technogym has been working with professional athletes and biomechanics research centres to constantly improve equipment and create innovative training solutions.
“The guarantee of the highest quality of equipment is that Technogym has been selected as the official equipment supplier seven times during the edition of the Olympic Games from Sydney 2000 to Tokyo 2020.”
He continued, “The equipment is manufactured in Italy with the utmost care: we cooperate with leading Italian designers, and only materials of the highest quality. Our goal is to create training equipment that impresses with its functionality and design, and at the same time ensures the highest performance for many years.”
In 2023, six IRONMAN races will take place in Poland:
- Citi Handlowy IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw – June 11, 2023;
- Citi Handlowy 5150 Warsaw – June 11, 2023;
- Enea IRONMAN Gdynia – August 6, 2023;
- Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Gdynia – August 6, 2023;
- Enea IRONMAN 70.3 Poznań – September 3, 2023; and
- Enea 5150 Poznań – September 3, 2023.
Technogym indoor bikes will be made available via rental agreements for IRONMAN Poland athletes. IRONMAN’s Michał Drelich added “In the coming weeks, we will reveal further benefits of cooperation. These will include exclusive presentations and trainings with sports stars in the Technogym showroom in Warsaw. The plan also includes a charity spinning on the roof.”
