Swedish footwear and apparel company Craft has confirmed the signing of three ultra-marathon athletes to its Craft Elite Run Team roster.
With their collaborations starting on January 1, 2023, the new sponsored athlete signings – Arlen Glick, Mimmi Kotka and Tim Tollefson – will play a role in Craft’s development of running apparel and running shoes.
Specialising in the 100 mile run distance, Arlen Glick has already toed the line at 15 x 100 milers – 10 of those were wins and the rest podium finishes. Glick said, “I am very happy to have finally met a brand that will work with me based on how I run and who I am, rather than what I do or, in my case, not do on social media.
“Collaborating with Craft and joining Craft’s Elite Run Team presents a new step in my career and will undoubtedly help me focus on my running in a way I’ve never been able to do before. I’m really excited to get this partnership going.”
Swedish athlete Mimmi Kotka lives and trains in Chamonix, France. She boasts an impressive track record – including victories at Lavaredo Ultra-Trail 120K, Mont-Blanc 90 km, CCC and TDS during UTMB week and the Madeira Island Ultra-Trail. She has also finished on the podium of UTMB in 2021.
Tim Tollefson is one of the most successful male American 100-milers. Having won the Javelina Jundred, Lavaredo Ultra Trail 120K, and Ultra Trail Australia 100K, as well as podiumed at the 2017 UTMB.
Tollefson said “It is with great excitement and pride that I have found a permanent home within the Craft team. Their commitment to the environment, the future of this sport, and the voices they will elevate mirror the values I cherish deeply.”
