Pinarello has unveiled its new endurance road bike, the DOGMA X, whilst also extending its X SERIES endurance bike range.
The DOGMA X leverages modern carbon technology and offers a generous 35mm tyre clearance. Meanwhile, X-STAYS are deployed to absorb vibrations. According to Pinarello, this has been done without sacrificing frame weight or bottom bracket stiffness.
Pinarello X-STAYS are based on carefully chosen carbon fibre layup patterns and a reduced diameter in the curved top stays. This helps to dampen road vibrations whilst increasing lateral stiffness to compensate for the elongation of the chain stays.

Pinarello is continuing to collaborate with Toray, a leading carbon fibre producer. The DOGMA X uses T1100 1K carbon fibre, and the frame is asymmetrically designed to balance the greater torsional forces imparted by the chain, providing riders with a more symmetrical ride.
Pinarello has also bolstered its X SERIES endurance bik range with the launch of the X9, X7 and X5 in addition to the X3 and X1 that were released earlier this year.
The X SERIES complements the DOGMA X and has been specifically designed to maximise rider comfort and vibration absorption, thanks to the carbon fibre layup method and a redesigned rear triangle.

In the X SERIES, Flexi Stays 2.0 is a new technology from Pinarello that absorbs vibrations whilst offering a lightweight, high-performance frame. Two different carbon fibre layups (T900 and T700) are used in the stays, coupled with a slimmer diameter in the curved top stays, to provide a smoother ride.
Pinarello notes that the last two editions of Paris-Roubaix were won on standard road frames with 32mm tubeless tyres. The Pinarello X SERIES comes with 35mm tyres, helping with comfort.
Embracing its ENDURANCE+ geometry previously featured on the X3/1 and Paris models, the Pinarello X caters to a wide variety of riders. ENDURANCE+ boasts a higher stack and a more compact reach, promoting a more relaxed riding position. This allows bike fitters to fit all kinds of cyclists to the X SERIES with less need for an excessive use of spacers or up-sizing frames.
