Building on a prior agreement signed in 2021, Italian apparel brand ALÉ has renewed its partnership with Fédération Française de Cyclisme (FFC), the French Cycling Federation.
As an official partner and equipment supplier of the federation and the French Cycling Team, ALÉ will continue to provide support for French cycling for the next four years through to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
Via the partnership, athletes on French cycling teams will continue to wear ALÉ technical clothing during international competitions. This commitment also extends to French Championships, across all disciplines and categories, where the winners will wear the tricolour jersey featuring with the ALÉ logo.
Since they originally began working together in 2014, ALÉ and the French teams have won nearly 700 medals on the European and world stage. Notably, at the recent World Championships in Andorra, a total of 20 medals were won by French athletes.
A release from ALÉ added… ‘This partnership, established by the In Yellow Consulting agency, marks a genuine collaboration between the FFC’s Performance unit and the Italian brand’s R&D department. Exchanges over the years have enabled numerous technological innovations to be tested, guaranteeing the ongoing development of products and a precise response to athletes’ needs, as demonstrated by the recent 2024 jersey.’
Alessia Piccolo, CEO at ALÉ’s parent company APG, said “Our partnership with the French Cycling Federation plays a major role in our international marketing and sales development.
“We are proud to have supported and equipped the French cycling teams for over a decade. This collaboration is essential for us, as it allows us to constantly innovate by working hand in hand with the FFC.
“Like all cycling fans, we were thrilled to see the exploits of French cycling in 2024, and we look forward to accompanying the French team to new successes in the next Olympiad.”
Michel Callot, President of Fédération Française de Cyclisme, said “The French Cycling Federation is proud to continue its adventure with cycling equipment manufacturer ALÉ until 2028.
“I attach great importance to the outfits worn by the French teams, both technically and aesthetically. For more than 10 years, ALÉ has responded perfectly to the challenges set by the national technical management. Today, our French team has everything it takes to perform at the various sporting events, right up to the 2028 Olympic Games.”
