Castelli has confirmed the appointment of Andrew ‘Monty’ Montgomery as the company’s new Product Line Manager.
The Italian cycling apparel brand notes that… ‘Monty has extensive experience in both the fashion and cycling apparel industries. His key roles have included managing MAAP in Europe and the Rapha flagship store in London, as well as working with Paul Smith in the fashion industry and recently launching the experiential concept store Bassano Club House.’
In his new role, he will lead the Castelli product creation team, focusing on enhancing customer inspiration and engagement.
Castelli adds that… ‘His work will build on Castelli’s legacy of disruptive innovation and high-performance cycling apparel, with a strong emphasis on storytelling and forging an emotional connection with passionate cyclists. Monty’s knowledge of cultural trends, fashion, and the cycling community will further strengthen Castelli’s unmistakable Italian character.’

Originating as a Milanese tailor shop in 1876 and now based in the Dolomites, Castelli has pioneered a number of innovations including: the first Lycra shorts, the Gabba jacket. Castelli is owned MVC Group, which also has brands such as Sportful and Karpos in its portfolio.
