Boulderthon adds Cheribundi as 10K race title sponsor

Boulderthon has announced Cheribundi, founded and headquartered in Boulder, CO, as its new 10K title sponsor ahead of the 2024 event taking place on September 29, 2024.

Via the new partnership there will be a free Cheribundi Pure Concentrate Pouch for all Boulderthon finishers.

Boulderthon’s 10K race presented by Cheribundi will run participants through the streets of Boulder showcasing the scenic town, before leading them to Downtown Boulder for the finish on the Pearl Street Mall.

Cheribundi aims to leverage tart cherry juice’s impact on sleep, recovery and overall health. Championing natural wellness, the juice brand has been on a 20-year mission, which has led to over 475 professional and college athletic teams fuelling their bodies with Cheribundi’s products after practice and competition.

“While securing a title sponsor for our 10K race, we wanted to make sure it was with a company that represents what we stand for at Boulderthon,” said Phil Dumontet, Founder and President of Boulderthon.

“Cheribundi’s mission of bringing all-natural wellness to athletes around the world stood out to us, and we couldn’t think of a better partner for our 10K race. Plus, we love working with other Boulder-born brands who call our beautiful city home to create an authentic local experience for our runners.”

Ross Rutherford, Director of Partnerships at NextFoods, parent company of Cheribundi, said “At Cheribundi we love fuelling elite athletes competing at the highest levels, but we also love to support and celebrate the everyday athlete’s pursuit toward becoming their best self.

“We are excited to partner with Boulderthon as the presenting sponsor of the 10K race. The running community in Colorado is special and we look forward to celebrating all the hard work and preparation that goes into showing up on race day.”

In addition to the 10K, Boulderthon offers four further distances for participants to take part in – the marathon, half marathon, 5K and Kids Run. Boulderthon’s marathon and half marathon courses will take participants through different landscapes set at the foothills of the Flatirons, with views of the Boulder Reservoir, Table Mountain and Haystack Mountain along their way.

The Heart to Heart 5K by BCH will be debuting its new course this year, featuring an all-road, fast and flat experience for all participants, allowing for wheelchair athletes and those utilizing wheeled vehicles, such as duo runners, to take part in the event.
