Canyon road & gravel bikes enhanced by new SRAM Red and GRX Di2

Three of Canyon’s CFR road bikes are now equipped with SRAM Red, featuring SRAM’s newest brakes, gearing and wheels.

CFR stand for Canyon Factory Racing… ‘Canyon’s elite range of bikes designed by its engineering teams to deliver for elite athletes in their discipline, and for consumers to experience what it’s like to rude the same bikes as their favourite athletes.’

Gravel
In addition to the SRAM Red equipped road bikes, Canyon’s flagship Grail CFR gravel race rig and its premium adventure-ready Grizl CF SLX are now available with GRX Di2 RX825, Shimano’s 12-speed electronic gravel bike groupset.

GRX Di2 RX825 adopts the same semi-wireless design first introduced on Shimano’s road-specific Di2 groupsets, with a set of wireless shifters paired to semi-wireless front and rear derailleurs.

The GRX Di2 system not only offers one extra sprocket, and changes in weight and ergonomics, but also has a Front Shift Next technology, designed to simplify its electronic shifting for less-experienced riders. This means that riders can push any button to shift up to the big chain ring or shift down to the small chain ring, without needing to remember which shift paddle does what.

Road
The new SRAM Red, found on Canyon’s Aeroad CFR AXS, Ultimate CFR AXS and Endurace CFR AXS bikes is now lighter. Across the whole system the weight savings amount to approximately 150g and the total 2×12 system weight is 2,498g. SRAM Red is now billed as the lightest electronic group set on the market.
