Tough Mudder Infinity AlUla is gearing up for an inaugural event landing in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, February 24th. The new eight-hour Infinity event in AlUla is located at an oasis city in the northwest of the country.
The endurance challenge will involve over 1,000 participants, with over 40 countries worldwide represented in the ancient city.
Tough Mudder Infinity AlUla claims the largest prize pot in obstacle course racing history, with a significant US$480,000 at stake. The winner of both the men’s and women’s individual races, are in line to win US$80,000.
AlUla is serviced by direct flights from multiple destinations including Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. This has helped a significant number of participants from across the region to take part in the event.
The event organising team adds that it is…. ‘A truly unique destination, AlUla combines stunning landscapes with historic monuments, ensuring competitors can look forward to enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime experience while attempting to navigate a challenge in which only the strongest – both physically and mentally – will last the distance.’
With all individual tickets for Tough Mudder Infinity now sold out, participants can enter as part of a team of two or four, while those competitors keen to sample something slightly less gruelling can take on either of the classic 5K and 10K races.
