Elite Cycling Nutrition Conference from Hexis in Florence, Italy, ahead of 2024 Tour de France

Personalised fuelling platform, Hexis, has announced its first-ever Elite Cycling Nutrition Conference, set to take place on June 26th, 2024 in the city of Florence, Italy.

The conference occurs just three days before the Tour de France kicks off from the city, and Hexis… ‘promises a packed itinerary for professionals dedicated to the nutrition and performance of elite athletes.’

At the Elite Cycling Nutrition Conference participants will have the opportunity to discover research and evidence-based practices for cycling nutrition. The conference will feature presentations and discussions on the some of the latest advancements in the field, offering attendees insights into the optimisation of performance and recovery for elite cyclists.

Hexis adds that… ‘In addition to the educational aspects, the conference is designed to foster connections among industry leaders and fellow professionals within the cycling community. Attendees will have the chance to network with peers, exchange ideas, and build relationships that can lead to future collaborations.

The conference is tailored for sports nutritionists, performance chefs, cycling coaches, dietitians, and athletic trainers. It offers an opportunity to engage with experts and practitioners who share a commitment to advancing the field of sports nutrition.

Professional cyclist Bob Jungels of UCI WorldTeam Bora–Hansgrohe is a long term advocate and user of Hexis, and will be competing in the 2024 edition of the Tour de France.
