Event organiser Red Knot Racing has announced Garmin as the title sponsor of the seventh annual Kilimanjaro Trails Festival, scheduled to take place from January 31st to February 2, 2025 on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
According to Red Knot Racing… ‘This partnership marks a fusion of Garmin’s cutting-edge technology and the festival’s commitment to celebrating the outdoors, ensuring an unforgettable weekend for adventure enthusiasts, families, and festival-goers alike.’
The Garmin Kilimanjaro Trails Festival offers trail run and mountain bike events, with food vendors, live music, camping, and a volleyball tournament. Set against the backdrop of Africa’s tallest mountain, the three-day event promises… ‘fun, camaraderie, and the ultimate outdoor experience.’

More than 1,200 participants are expected to gather at the festival’s venue, Simba Farm in West Kilimanjaro. The farm offers views, access to trails, and acres of space for camping. The event destination includes a dozen trail events, ranging from competitive races to casual walks, complemented by international cuisine, live music, and activities such as cornhole and frisbee for all ages.
