This year, the Marató dels Dements will host the final of SkyMasters, becoming the global focal point of the Skyrunner World Series. The event in Spain on November 16-17, 2024, will be decisive in determining which athletes share the season’s total prize pool of €93,500.
A race known for its toughness and technical terrain, located in the Spanish province of Castellón, north of Valencia, Marató dels Dements spans 42K and a cumulative elevation gain of around 4,000m.
The event has extended its use of Gretel Planner technology – as a means of communicating all technical information about the race, and as a tool so that participants (pro athletes and amateurs) can prepare their racing and nutrition strategy.
