Event software platform, Gretel Planner, has becomes a tech partner for the Spartan ULTRA World Championship in Morzine, France, with a goal of improving the experience and safety of participants.
Taking place on July 5, many of the world’s best obstacle racing (OCR) athletes, from 40 countries, will gather in Morzine, France, for the Spartan ULTRA World Championship, a 50km race with 60 obstacles: one of the most intense OCR event in Spartan’s portfolio.
Over 10,000 participants are reportedly set to compete in various race formats across the race weekend, with the event expected to elevate obstacle racing in France.
After several months carrying out tests at a number of Spartan races, Gretel Planner notes that it has finally become part of a Spartan event as a technological partner. Throughout the event in France, Gretel Planner will be on-hand: educating participants about the importance of nutrition strategy in OCR events.
