Transiro Aeris Adaptive is the latest addition to fizik’s Adaptive saddle range. This time trial and triathlon-specific saddle is available in short and long-distance versions, and R1 and R3 sizing options respectively.
Designed for riders seeking comfort and stability in aerodynamic time-trial positions, the Aeris Adaptive offers distance-specific support. The long-distance model features a 55mm wide split nose for pressure relief and stability. The short-distance model has a narrower 45mm wide nose with a traditional cutout to evenly distribute pressure during shorter rides such as time trials and short-course, non-drafting triathlons.
The Aeris also includes an optional link for integrating a water bottle cage on the rear of the saddle. This link holds bottles at an angle that stays out of the way during mounting and dismounting phases at transition zones.
Complying with UCI rules, the Aeris is equipped with a rail insertion that enhances aerodynamics and provides a wide range of adjustability to help achieve an ideal forward-facing position against the wind.
fizik’s Adaptive 3D-printed padding has now expanded to the Aliante family, creating a platform for riders who demand long-lasting comfort. This new design has a flatter surface that spreads pressure evenly, offering a balanced feel that can be especially useful for long rides.
Leveraging advanced digital 3D printing, fizik has developed the new saddle free from the constraints of traditional production methods. The Adaptive saddle padding is created by 3D-printing pioneers Carbon using its Digital Light Synthesis technology. The collaboration with Carbon’s biomechanics and engineers allows fizik to incorporate multiple functional zones within the saddle, enhancing rider comfort and performance.
