Hytro, the Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) wearable, has appointed Caroline Dakers as the brand’s new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Joining with 25 years of experience in major sport and consumer brands, Caroline Dakers previously held the title of Sales Director at Nike. Dakers’ new role at Hytro will see her spearhead top-line revenue growth across the business, with key responsibilities of leading the sales team globally, identifying new market opportunities and building strategic partnerships.
Hytro claims to be ‘scientifically proven to increase muscle size by 31% and accelerate recovery time by 33%.
‘Hytro’s BFR straps trap blood in the muscles causing them to swell and become stressed. This can increase muscle fibre activation and up-regulates muscle building hormones.’
Caroline Dakers said “Having worked at some of the biggest global brands, it’s exciting to be at the start of the Hytro journey. I truly believe in the product; it’s backed by science and the opportunity for scale is huge. A key priority is to accelerate our expansion in the US and we’re moving quickly into new markets, channels and geographies.”
Raj Thiruchelvarajah, CEO and Co-Founder of Hytro, said “At Hytro, we are on an exhilarating journey of growth, expanding our reach across various territories. This demands exceptional talent and experience, which is why I am thrilled to welcome Caroline to our team.
“We are confident that Caroline’s leadership will drive significant advancements and bolster Hytro’s ongoing success. We are excited to see the positive impact she will bring and look forward to reaching new milestones together.”
