New Balance’s latest FuelCell SuperComp Elite shoe, the FuelCell SuperComp Elite v4, officially launches on February 1, 2024.
The FuelCell SuperComp Elite v4 is a race day shoe and is New Balance’s pinnacle racing model. A propulsive FuelCell feeling for runners is combined with a thin carbon fibre plate, offering an energy return in a lightweight package.
The company notes that… ‘FuelCell SuperComp Elite is built for competition, up to the highest levels, offering dynamic energy return in a streamlined package. It’s what keeps New Balance at the forefront of innovative performance, with the Energy Arc system in particular offering a signature take on the carbon fibre plate.’
Priced at £260 / US$250 from February 1st, 2024, the shoe has a 4mm drop and weighs 7.8 oz ( Men’s 9.5D) and 6.1oz (Women’s 7B). The Total Stack Height comes in at: Men’s 40mm / Women’s 36mm.
