With the opening of its newest location at Manchester’s Trafford Centre on December 21st, 2023, New Balance unveiled its first northern UK store. The latest retail outlet features the run brand’s retail concept, which is… ‘built to put people, not products, at the centre of the consumer experience.’
Designed around central seating, the store aims to encourage customers to convene and draw inspiration from each other. The Trafford Centre store offers a full New Balance MADE product range, which includes premium apparel and footwear.
The store concept includes an edited assortment of merchandise as well as visual storytelling to accompany select products, highlighting the makers and origins behind them. The selection of footwear and apparel available in store has been curated to cater to those looking for the latest styles and fashion, through to athletes looking for products to help elevate performance.

The Trafford Centre store, located on Lower Peel Avenue, is the first of its kind in the north of the UK. The Trafford location will have UK store hours of Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 22:00, Saturday 10:00AM to 21:00 and Sunday, 12:00 to 18:00.
