IRONMAN-owned indoor cycling app FulGaz has announced the signing of professional triathlete Nikki Bartlett as its newest ambassador.
To kickstart the new collaboration, Bartlett will be hosting a live virtual ride on the evening of Monday 15 January, UK time, inviting enthusiasts and fans to join her.
Nikki Bartlett said “I’m super excited about my new partnership with FulGaz. I’ve always struggled for motivation on the indoor trainer, and I was a complete convert to FulGaz after my first ride.”
FulGaz boasts over 2,000 routes from around the globe, including more than 100 IRONMAN courses.
Bartlett continued, “I’m not only using the app to train for specific races, but I’m also using it to choose which races I’ll do this year.”
Bartlett will lead the Women for Tri Champions Club, powered by FulGaz in 2024, alongside coach Michellie Jones. This aims to help support and encourage female age group athletes as they prepare to line up for the VinFast IRONMAN World Championship, to be held in Nice, France, in September.
“After qualifying last year, this is a crucial target for me,” Bartlett said. “I feel like I will know every twist and turn, lump and bump of the course by the time I get there in September thanks to FulGaz.”
Bartlett also highlighted the user-friendly nature of FulGaz. “I’m an absolute technophobe, and I can even set it up. It’s so easy to use,” she said. “I couldn’t recommend the app more, and I’m excited to be working closely with FulGaz in 2024 on some fun projects but to also improve my own bike splits.”
As part of the Nikki Bartlett live group ride (stage 11 of the IRONMAN Virtual Series) FulGaz is offering an extended 30 day free trial for Bartlett’s audience to use.
