Returning for its 40th edition, Roc d’Azur is heading to Fréjus on the Côte d’Azur, France, from October 9-13, 2024.
Organised by A.S.O., and traditionally an off-road cycling festival, this year there are new features to celebrate the event’s 40th anniversary:
- Road cycling with the Cyclo Roc: 130.9km (1,900m of elevation gain) in the Var backcountry
- Canyon Rando Gravel Origins: 70km of gravel, following in the tracks of the Roc d’Azur pioneers
- Rando d’Azur Électrique on Sunday: electric version of the Roc d’Azur
Laying a claim to be one of the largest mountain bike events in the world, Roc d’Azur has previously registered around 20,000 participants. With an extensive expo and side activities, around 100,000 visitors have traditionally made the event a major MTB destination in southeastern France.
Held on Sunday, 13 October, road cycling will debut on the Roc d’Azur programme – helping to make the event a destination for all types of cycling.
