All the action from Challenge Family’s The Championship, featuring many of the world’s top athletes, can be enjoyed by triathlon fans around the world for free via a livestream in partnership with ROUVY.
While the full professional field is yet to be announced, it has already been confirmed that former champions, India Lee (GBR) and Lucy Buckingham (GBR), are returning to the event, as well as current world champion, Rico Bogen (GER) and Daniel Bækkegård (DEN).
The Championship takes place on May 19, 2024, at the x-bionic sphere sports resort in Šamorín, Slovakia. The start gun for the pro men will go off at 08:30 CEST and for the pro women at 08:40 CEST.
The former champions will join a field of over 60 professional athletes as they compete for a €100,000 prize purse, as well as Challenge Family World Bonus and PTO Gold Level event points. The Championship Live, powered by ROUVY, will broadcast the race in its entirety with commentary by ‘the voice of Challenge Family’, Belinda Granger, plus special guests.
