‘L’Étape du Tour de France connectée 2024’ is highlighting women’s achievements in sport with a distance of 108.6 km this year, in recognition of the 1,086 women who participated in the 2023 L’Étape du Tour de France gran fondo.
Organised via A.S.O.’s L’Etape by Tour de France Strava club, and taking place as a challenge on Strava, L’Etape du Tour de France connectée 2024 runs from May 8-12, 2024. Strava users worldwide aged over 18 can join the challenge from May 1, 2024

‘Whether the point is to add the finishing touches to their preparation for the L’Étape du Tour de France 2024, which will take place between Nice and the Col de la Couillole on 7 July, to take on a long-distance challenge or simply to go out for a ride in the glorious spring weather, all cyclists are invited to sign up for the challenge of L’Étape du Tour de France connectée 2024, from 8 to 12 May. The bravest of the brave can tackle the 108.6 km challenge in one go, while the rest can break it up into more manageable bits.’
As a bonus, finishers who register for the prize draw have a chance to win prizes, including: a gift card for the Santini store, a Tissot watch, a postural study in an Alltricks store, race numbers for L’Étape by Tour de France in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Ireland, and a limited number of sought after race numbers for L’Étape du Tour de France 2024.
The 32nd edition of L’Étape du Tour de France gran fondo will take place on July 7, 2024, between Nice and the Col de la Couillole pass.
