Cycling’s international governing body, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), and Santini Cycling have renewed their partnership agreement for a further seven years (2025-2031).
Building on a 30-year partnership between Santini and the UCI: since 1988, the Italian company has been responsible for supplying the prestigious rainbow jersey, which crowns the UCI World Champions in all cycling disciplines.
Santini Cycling also supplies the leader jerseys for the various classifications within the UCI Women’s WorldTour, recognizing the top performances in this elite category of cycling. The partnership extends to supplying jerseys for the overall classifications in UCI World Cups and for a wide range of events, including para-cycling, mountain bike eliminator, trials, artistic cycling, and cycle-ball.
The UCI and Santini Cycling also work closely together to develop a range of merchandising products. This collection includes technical cycling clothing, as well as leisure wear and accessories, all featuring the emblematic rainbow stripes. New products are regularly launched to meet the evolving tastes and needs of cyclists and cycling enthusiasts around the world.
UCI President David Lappartient said “We are delighted to renew the historic partnership between our international federation and Santini, and salute the support that this world-renowned brand has given to the UCI and cycling since the late 1980s.
“The jerseys produced by Santini – from the UCI World Champions’ rainbow jersey to the various leaders‘ jerseys – have been the dream of champions and aspiring champions for decades. They are part of the legend of our sport.”
Santini Cycling CEO Monica Santini said “We’re proud to announce the renewal of our agreement with the Union Cycliste Internationale for the next seven years.
“This historic collaboration, which began in 1988, reaffirms our commitment to outfitting the world’s top athletes across various cycling disciplines. This marks an important chapter in our company’s history, as we continue our partnership with the highest institution in world cycling, solidifying our role as the official technical partner.”
