Wahoo Fitness has today confirmed the appointment of Gareth Joyce as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and member of its Board of Directors.
Joyce joins Wahoo from electric vehicle specialist Proterra, where he served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Prior to Proterra, Joyce was responsible for one of Delta Air Lines’ largest business units, leading its global ground-based airport operations and its cargo business.
During a 12-year tenure at Mercedes-Benz he served as President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada in his last role and held various senior leadership positions in the United States, Europe and South Africa.

Wahoo recently announced its summer 2024 entry into the indoor running market through the launch of its KICKR RUN treadmill. This followed the release of the KICKR MOVE and KICKR SHIFT indoor cycling trainers, which the market in September 2023, and a revamped growth collaboration with Zwift originally signed in August 2023.
