Van Rysel, the Flemish performance bicycle brand from Decathlon, has opened a pre-order window for its top-tier race bike – the RCR Pro Replica.
Already raced to sixteen victories this season at the highest level in world cycling, with the Decathlon–AG2R La Mondiale cycling team, the RCR Pro is positioned in the newly emerging category of aero-light bicycle.
Jérémie Debeuf, Product Manager at Van Rysel said, “We are thrilled to announce the pre-order availability of the RCR PRO Replica. This bike has already proved its worth to the riders in the Decathlon – AG2R La Mondiale team. The feedback has been excellent, and we know that this machine is ready to set the victory counter racing.”
Benoît Cosnefroy at Decathlon–AG2R La Mondiale Athlete added, “It’s very aerodynamic. It sends speed straight back without needing to give it too much. The bike remains the centrepiece of our equipment, and now that average speeds are often in excess of 50 km/h, aero is very important.”
Equal parts aerodynamic and lightweight, the RCR PRO Replica was developed alongside ONERA, the French aerospace lab. Super High Mod Carbon has been deployed in key areas. At the head tube, the RCR Pro is 10% stiffer than the brand’s regular RCR bike.
