RunSignup reports US$3bn in transactions processed for events & non-profits

RunSignup

RunSignup, the technology provider for US endurance events, reports that it has now surpassed US$3 billion in transactions processed, boosting its credentials as a go-to platform for race and event organizers.

RunSignup added that… ‘This achievement comes less than two years after reaching US$2 billion, highlighting the platform’s accelerating adoption. In contrast, it took 13 years to process the first $2 billion.

‘As a payment processor and event technology provider, RunSignup’s priority is helping customers to raise more money through their events. Customers include small community races, large-scale endurance events, nonprofit organizations, and ticket event organizers. The majority of customers are small businesses or nonprofits, and most support one or more charity causes.’

“How much we can help our customers generate revenue is the key metric of success for our company,” said RunSignup CEO and Founder Bob Bickel.

“This money is for our customers, so many of whom are supporting their communities in amazing ways by promoting fitness, funding charity work, and providing amazing event experiences. We’re proud to be able to work with so many amazing customers, and we look forward to processing even more for them in the coming years.”

While celebrating its 15th anniversary, RunSignup remains focused on innovation. It recently launched updates to its race day technology, including scoring, runner tracking, and a mobile timing app with integrated photos.

Additional upgrades to event websites, free email marketing, and contact management are expected to help events to grow and communicate. In addition, a new calendar-driven MTE Timed Ticketing platform will expand the opportunities for multi-day ticketed events.
