On Saturday, April 26, 2025, 8,500 cyclists set off from Playa de Muro in Mallorca, Spain, for the fifteenth edition of the Mallorca 312 OK Mobility.
While rain threatened to dampen the start, the weather soon cleared, with mild temperatures accompanying a day for one of Europe’s largest gran fondo events.
The organisers of Mallorca 312 OK Mobility extended their deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of a participant who tragically passed away during the race on Saturday, with the event organising team noting that… ‘This edition will always be in remembrance of him.’

The Mallorca 312 OK Mobility deeply regrets to announce, that during the race a 40-year-old British participant suffered a serious accident during the race. Following the rapid intervention of the emergency services, the participant was rushed to the hospital and arrived dead.
The organizers would like to express their deepest condolences to his family and loved ones and are available to offer all the support they need during this difficult time.
As a sign of respect, changes will be made to today’s program, including a memorial service for the participant at the trophy ceremony, which will be adapted accordingly.

In the 312-kilometre race, Canadian Adam Roberge set a new event record with a time of 8:39:28, while Michela Santini won the women’s race, also breaking the record with a time of 9:49:15.
Several former professional cyclists participated, including Alejandro Valverde, who wore bib number 312, alongside Alberto Contador, Miguel Indurain, Maurizio Fondriest, Joseba Beloki, Pedro Horrillo, Haimar Zubeldia, Sean Kelly, and Toni Tauler. Also in attendance were Argentina’s national team coach, Lionel Scaloni, and former footballer Eden Hazard.
Mallorca 312 OK Mobility continues to attract cyclists from around the world, and this year was no exception. Local riders from the Balearic Islands set a participation record, with 2,600 riders joining the event. Internationally, the top five countries represented were Spain (34%), the United Kingdom (18%), Germany (15%), Belgium (5%), and Ireland (4%).
