Title sponsored by run shoe brand Altra, the 13 Valleys Ultra, a trail running event set in the landscapes of the Lake District National Park, has officially sold out across all ultra race distances. In doing so, the event is positioning itself as one of the fastest-growing trail running events in the UK.
Held on September 26-28, 2025, runners from across the UK and beyond have secured their places for the event, which offers four distances of 22km, 55km, 110km, and 180km.
There are a limited number of places available for the shorter 2 Valleys distance (22km).
“We’re thrilled to confirm that all ultra distances for the Altra 13 Valleys Ultra is now sold out,” said Alice Peyredieu, Head of Marketing (Adventure) at Great Run Company.
“The response has been phenomenal, and it’s clear that the trail running community is as excited as we are to celebrate this incredible event in the heart of the Lake District.”
The Altra 13 Valleys Ultra, delivered in partnership with the Lake District National Park, is designed to showcase the beauty and challenge of one of the UK’s most iconic natural landscapes. With distances catering to both seasoned ultra-runners and those taking on their first trail race, the event aims to embody inclusivity, endurance, and a shared love for the outdoors.
Though entries are now closed for ultra distances, supporters, spectators, and the local community are invited to join the event atmosphere, with a range of activities, food, and entertainment available at the event village.
