Billed as ‘Britain’s most beautiful’, the Altra Kielder Marathon has announced a new partnership with event registration platform njuko. The collaboration aims to streamline the registration process for the 2025 event, which marks the marathon’s 15th anniversary.
Held in Northumberland on October 4-5, 2025, the event is centred around Kielder Water, the largest man-made lake in northern Europe. The weekend festival features a marathon, half marathon, 10K, gravel duathlon, and junior runs.
Recent years have seen participation numbers exceed 3,000 runners, with athletes and spectators travelling from across Europe.

As the new title sponsor, Altra has partnered with the BOLDLI women’s running club to encourage more female participation at the event.
The njuko platform, which integrates with Runna and Findarace.com, offers features such as prepaid group registrations, distance changes, and digital bib management to enhance the participant experience.
