French cycling apparel brand Café du Cycliste has unveiled a footwear collaboration with Japanese recovery specialist Rig, ahead of opening its first permanent Paris store in June.
The limited-edition spring-summer 2025 partnership with Rig includes two post-activity shoe models – the Moja 2.0 slip-on and the Slider 2.0 slider – both designed to aid recovery after riding, hiking or training. The designs combine Rig’s high shock-absorption sole and arch-massaging insole with recycled materials, including Dyneema ripstop uppers and recycled rubber outsoles.
Both shoes are now available online and in-store at Café du Cycliste’s locations in Nice, Bédoin, Palma, and at the forthcoming Paris boutique.

The new Paris store will open at 15 Rue St-Fiacre in the 2nd arrondissement, in the heart of the Sentier district. Designed by Paris-based studio A.S.L., the 200m² space blends the cycling accessory brand’s Côte d’Azur aesthetic with the area’s industrial heritage. Features include a ground-floor café, retail area and basement customisation studio.
“Paris is now one of Europe’s best cycling cities,” said Rémi Clermont, co-founder and Creative Director at Café du Cycliste. “Thanks to A.S.L. we now have a home away from home in Paris’s historic garment district, to serve as a hub for all of Paris’s cyclists.”
Antoine Ricardou, co-founder of A.S.L., added “We’ve combined Café du Cycliste’s Côte d’Azur DNA with early-20th-century Parisian industrial architecture and the heritage of the Sentier garment district.”
The Paris opening follows store launches in Nice, Palma (Mallorca), and Bédoin (Mont Ventoux/Provence).
