French multinational Veolia has signed on as an official sponsor of IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw and a partner of IRONMAN 70.3 Kraków, both set to take place in Poland this summer.
The international group, which specialises in energy, water and waste management, has operated in Poland for over 25 years. Its presence at both events will include activations in the expo zones, aimed at families and race spectators. Attractions will include a refreshment area and a temporary tattoo stand for children and adults.
Veolia aims to demonstrate how its services connect with daily life through its on-site presence at the two events in Poland.
Angelika Rataj from Veolia’s Communications Office said “Veolia is a pioneer of innovative solutions in the energy, water and waste sectors. ‘Renewing the world’s resources’ is the company’s mission and its unique way of operating at every stage of its operations, all the way to the recipients of services in homes and apartments.
“At Veolia, sport and sustainable development go hand in hand, so it is worth visiting the expo tent with its logo, learning about the scope of its activities and finding out when we come into contact with its services on a daily basis.
Michał Drelich, CEO of Sport Evolution and Race Director of IRONMAN Poland, added “The presence of Veolia in Warsaw and Krakow, during the IRONMAN Poland weekends, is an obvious signal for us that the events we organise are an attractive promotion platform for companies of global importance.”
In Warsaw, the Veolia expo tent will be located at the Multimedialny Park Fontann – also the start and finish area for Night Run Warsaw, which takes place on the evening of Friday, June 6. The same venue will host the Pho3nix IRONKIDS Warsaw events.
IRONMAN 70.3 Warsaw is scheduled for June 6-8, 2025, followed by IRONMAN 70.3 Kraków on August 1-3, 2025. Both events are part of the IRONMAN Poland series operated by The IRONMAN Group, which runs mass participation events attracting over 1 million athletes each year.
