COMPRESSPORT, the Swiss-based sports compression specialist, has presented the ‘EVERYARN’ project, which is positioned as an eco-responsible initiative that uses leftover yarn balls from the previous season to generate profits donated to a charitable organisation.
The company is giving a second life to its dormant stock by creating limited-edition socks. These models offer unique colour combinations… ‘while staying true to the brand’s quality and performance standards.’
According to the company, EVERYARN means that every yarn is used, with no waste. When new threads are ordered to produce socks, not all of them are used, so the initiative gathers what remained and rethinks the collection.
The initiative includes models of the Pro Racing Socks v4.0 Run High and Pro Racing Socks v4.0 Trail, which come in unique colours derived from this circular approach to raw materials.
The price of the socks remains the same as the original Pro Racing Socks v4.0 Run High and Pro Racing Socks v4.0 Trail models. For every pair sold, COMPRESSPORT donates €2 to the Helio Fumo Association.
Helio Fumo Association is a Portuguese non-profit organisation, founded by COMPRESSPORT athlete Helio Fumo. It promotes social inclusion for young people and vulnerable individuals through sport.
The EVERYARN socks are now available on the company’s online store and on its partner Sports Shoes’ website.
