Gym training brand, R.A.D, which specialises in performance footwear and apparel, has unveiled its latest collaboration – the ‘DB3’ shoe – with long-time collaborator and 5x CrossFit champion Danielle Brandon.
The DB3 is a new themed colourway of the R.A.D ONE V2 shoe, launched as a direct collaboration with brand ambassador Danielle Brandon, in her favoured ‘vibrant peach & pink signature’ colours.
R.A.D released the new R.A.D ONE V2 shoe in January 2025. It is the first redesign of its first ever shoe, the RAD ONE, which was originally launched in 2022.
Danielle Brandon is a leading female CrossFit athlete, and is R.A.D’s original ambassador, having partnered with the brand since its inception in 2022. Having teamed up with the brand since the beginning, this collaboration will mark the third time Danielle Brandon has brought out her own colourway for one of R.A.D’s shoes, along with an accompanying apparel collection also named DB3.
A documentary from R.A.D, entitled ‘Danielle Brandon Energy’, was launched in 2024. This showcased Danielle Brandon’s journey in becoming a 5x CrossFit Games athlete. The documentary also explores the struggles she experienced throughout her upbringing, which she hopes will help to inspire others.
