The last edition of the IRONMAN 70.3 St George triathlon will take place on Saturday, May 10, in southwestern Utah, bringing more than 90 professional athletes to the start line for the North American Championship.
This marks the final staging of the race following IRONMAN’s announcement in December that it would retire the event after 2024. St George has hosted multiple major races in recent years, including the IRONMAN 70.3 and IRONMAN World Championships.
This year’s race offers a US$75,000 prize purse and a maximum of 2,500 points towards the IRONMAN Pro Series standings. Over 2,000 age-group athletes are also registered, competing for slots at the 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Marbella, Spain, on November 8–9.
The course features a reservoir swim, rolling hills on the bike, and a climb through Snow Canyon State Park. Athletes then face a two-lap run through downtown St George, finishing in the city’s town centre.
The event will be streamed live for free at proseries.ironman.com, as well as via Outside TV (US and Canada), DAZN, L’Équipe in France, iQIYI, YouTube and other platforms.
