Gymshark collaborates with R.A.D on debut footwear range

Gymshark, the British fitness apparel brand, has launched its first footwear products in collaboration with UK performance footwear brand R.A.D.

The limited-edition collection features two of R.A.D’s shoe models, the R.A.D ONE V2 and R-1, reworked in Gymshark’s trademark muted colours. It will be available for early access on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 17:00 BST with general sale beginning at 19:00 on the same day.

The collaboration brings together two British brands, both founded by entrepreneurs named Ben. Gymshark was founded by Ben Francis in 2012, while R.A.D was founded by Ben Massey in 2022.

Known for its clothing, Gymshark has reported continued demand from its community to expand into footwear. The company states that the collaboration with R.A.D was the ‘missing piece of the puzzle’.

R.A.D, which has a following in UK and US fitness communities, provides trainers designed by a team of industry veterans, including former designers from Nike and adidas. Its first product, the R.A.D ONE, launched in January 2022.

The collection includes collaborative editions of the following models:

R.A.D ONE V2

  • Positioned as an all-round training shoe that delivers stability for lifting, and provides grip, durability, and flexibility.
  • Colours: Pebble Gray, Weighted Purple, and Triple Black
  • Price: £130

R.A.D R-1

  • Positioned as a lightweight cross-training shoe designed for gym, HIIT, and run training, which provides responsive energy return.
  • Colours: White Silver and Weighted Purple
  • Price: £130
