Canadian sports tech company 4iiii Innovations has released its PRECISION 3+ and PRECISION 3+ PRO power meters as Factory Install options for the new Shimano XTR M9200 crankset, following Shimano’s latest groupset launch.
Cochrane, Alberta-based 4iiii, known for its cycling power meters, stated that this latest release reinforces the growing demand for power data among mountain bikers seeking to train and race more effectively across technical terrain.
The PRECISION 3+ series, available in left-side or dual-sided options, integrates with Shimano’s top-tier mountain bike groupset via 4iiii’s Factory Install service.
According to 4iiii, MTB riders can now access ±1% accuracy, up to 800 hours of battery life, and Apple Find My integration – designed for added convenience and peace of mind on the trail.
“The demand for power data in mountain biking has exploded and for good reason,” said Phil White, CEO of 4iiii Innovations. “Our PRECISION 3+ Powermeter, now available as a Factory Install on the new Shimano XTR M9200, offers riders the precision, durability, and peace of mind they need to push their limits on any trail.”
4iiii noted that mountain bike power meters help riders climb more efficiently and reduce fatigue, leading to better focus and enjoyment on descents. The company’s latest power meter design also includes a refreshed battery cap engineered to comply with updated safety regulations.
The single-sided PRECISION 3+ and dual-sided PRECISION 3+ PRO both feature 4iiii’s patented 3D strain gauge technology.
