ITV to broadcast Tour of Britain Men live this September

The Lloyds Tour of Britain Men will be broadcast live and free-to-air on ITV4 and ITVX from September 2–7, 2025. Daily highlights will also be shown on the UK channels, with coverage presented by Ned Boulting.

This marks the 13th consecutive edition of the race to have live coverage on ITV4 and ITVX.

Darren Henry, Chief Commercial Officer at British Cycling, said “We are delighted to confirm ITV4 and ITVX as broadcast partners for September, as we continue to bring the Lloyds Tour of Britain to as many people as possible so that they can share in the joy of cycling, and the excitement and action that the race brings each year.”

Richard Botchway, Commissioning Editor at ITV, said that ITV is “proud to partner” with the race. He added that viewers will “enjoy every heart racing moment” as the channels capture daily highlights and all six stages of the race.

The six-stage race builds to a climax in Wales, with the overall finish in Cardiff. The six stages of the 2025 Tour of Britain Men:

  • Stage one (Tuesday, September 2): Woodbridge to Southwold
  • Stage two (Wednesday, September 3): Stowmarket to Stowmarket
  • Stage three (Thursday, September 4): Milton Keynes to Ampthill
  • Stage four (Friday, September 5): Atherstone to Burton Dassett Hills Country Park
  • Stage five (Saturday, September 6): Pontypool to The Tumble
  • Stage six (Sunday, September 7): Newport to Cardiff

The event is described as the UK’s largest free-to-spectate sporting event. It is British Cycling’s premier road cycling event and is held annually in September.
