Bristol, UK-based cycling apparel brand Kostüme has launched its first complete winter layering system with two new batches, #EDIT005 and #EDIT006, designed for cold-weather riding.
The company, which operates on a preorder batch model to eliminate overstock, is introducing six new products and three limited edition colourways across the two product drops.
#EDIT005 launches today (Friday, November 21), and features a limited batch of just 100 of each product in the brand’s signature ‘Blueprint’ pattern. #EDIT006 launches on Friday, November 28, introducing two new colourways and marking the debut of the brand’s new Winter Bib Tights.
The new winter range focuses on long-distance comfort and utility, incorporating recycled fabrics and low-impact manufacturing processes. The collection includes:
- Winter Bib Tights: Engineered with an Italian-made two-layer softshell featuring a 20k/18k waterproof and breathable membrane and a PFAS-free DWR coating. It features Kostüme’s clipless dropseat and is available in standard (£285) and Cargo format (£300).
- Windproof Cargo Gilet: Features Polartec Power Shield RPM, a high-stretch, recycled fabric that is waterproof and breathable. The gilet includes four secure pockets and is fully recyclable due to its mono-material (polyester only) design. Price is £155.
- Winter Cargo Jersey: Combines three fabrics, a two-way zip, and a signature 6-pocket cargo configuration. The body uses a double-knit fabric for warmth, and Polartec Power Shield RPM rear pockets help protect against road spray. Price is £175.
- Long Sleeve Base Layer: Refined with new recycled fabrics. It can be used as a base layer or worn on its own. Price is £65.
- Neck Warmer: Version 2.0 features a revised silhouette with an ultra-soft brushed-back front and a venting/sweat-wicking rear panel. Price is £30.
Each batch will be on sale for 10 days, with products scheduled to ship to customers in mid-January 2026.
