UK-based cycling apparel brand Kostüme has announced the release of its latest small-batch preorder capsule, #EDIT004, with new items developed in response to customer feedback.
The new collection marks the brand’s first in-house colourways, following previous artist-led collaborations, and is designed to offer a more subtle aesthetic while retaining the functionality and long-distance comfort associated with Kostüme’s products.
#EDIT004 includes:
- 6-pocket Cargo Jersey (£125)
- Sleeveless Base Layer (£40)
- Five-panel Ponytail Cap (£35)
The pieces are available in matching green and yellow tones, intended to reflect the ‘feeling of summer endurance riding’. Each item is limited to 350 pieces worldwide.
Preorders opened on Friday, June 13, and close at midnight on Sunday, June 22.
Kostüme uses a small-batch preorder model to avoid overproduction and reduce waste. Only items that have been sold are manufactured, helping the brand to increase product specifications without raising prices. According to the company, this has contributed to its three-figure year-on-year growth and the ‘highest Trustpilot rating of any cycling apparel brand.’
The #EDIT004 collection is made from recycled materials, designed and tested in the UK, and produced in Europe. Kostüme reports a return rate of just 1–2% across its range, with most customers taking on long-distance, Audax, endurance and gravel rides.
Designed for utility and comfort, the six-pocket jersey includes a concealed key pocket and five-pocket rear layout, while the base layer adds a separate phone pocket for extra functionality.
All orders are set to ship the week commencing August 11. Existing customers who previously purchased from the matching Spring 2025 Comfort Break and Cargo Bib Shorts collections will receive a 10% discount.
