‘Lust for dust’ for MAAP x QUOC Gran Tourer XC cycling shoe in Graphite

MAAP x QUOC Gran Tourer XC cycling shoe in Graphite

MAAP, the Melbourne, Australia-based premium cycling apparel brand, has again collaborated with British cycling footwear brand QUOC for the latest in their series of limited edition products.

Following previous joint releases, the two brands return with a new colourway of the Gran Tourer XC gravel and mountain bike shoe, which they are calling ‘Graphite’.

The new design incorporates MAAP’s signature aesthetic, featuring muted greys balanced by pops of colour on the All-Terrain Performance Tread and the Alt_Road webbing pull tab on the heel. The pull tab is a feature exclusive to the MAAP edition of the shoe.

The shoe also features a lightweight ribbed TPU tongue that moulds to the rider’s foot and larger ventilation holes compared to the original model.

The Gran Tourer XC is designed for both race performance and durability. Weighing around 325g, it pairs a stiff carbon composite sole with a grippy TPU tread and replaceable studs for power transfer and traction. The abrasion-resistant microfibre upper and reinforced toe guard complete the design.

For long-haul comfort, the shoe features heel cushioning, a gusseted tongue, and QUOC’s Dual Dial closure system for a secure, custom fit. Ventilation helps to keep feet cool.

The MAAP x QUOC Gran Tourer XC will be available online from MAAP and QUOC, at MAAP LaB’s and selected MAAP and QUOC retailers. It is priced at £250 / €295 / US$330.
