Australian cycling and lifestyle apparel brand MAAP has collaborated with Italian premium helmet manufacturer KASK to launch a striking special edition of KASK’s high-performance Elemento helmet.
The helmet combines MAAP’s distinct DNA with KASK’s structural design. It is described as a revolution in aerodynamics, ventilation, and protection for the rider.
A release from MAAP notes that, traditionally, helmet design can often compromise aerodynamics for ventilation. According to the company, the Elemento breaks this compromise. It is engineered to deliver aerodynamic efficiency while maintaining high-volume airflow.
This is achieved through its innovative design and pioneering technologies. This includes KASK’s Fluid Carbon 12 energy-absorbing composite technopolymer and proprietary 3D-printed Multipod internal padding, which combine for enhanced impact protection.
The Elemento Special Edition (SE) features a vivid visual design across its outer shell to complement its ventilation structure.
The Elemento SE incorporates KASK’s OCTOFIT+ precision fit system, as well as the same Merino wool inner padding and polyester chinstrap materials used in the original design. The helmet weighs 260g and meets CE/UKCA–EN 1078SA safety standards.
The Elemento SE follows MAAP’s previous collaboration with KASK on a unique Protone helmet design.
