Marathon Tours & Travel has been announced as the Official International Tour Operator for the 2025 Shanghai Marathon, which takes place on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
The agreement sees Marathon Tours & Travel provide support and travel packages for international runners who have already secured their entry for this year’s race.
Shanghai Marathon is currently in its debut year as a candidate race for the Abbott World Marathon Majors. The new partnership with Marathon Tours & Travel (MTT) aims to make travel to the event more accessible for international participants, their families and supporters – with MTT offering options that include flights, accommodation, and logistical support.
The company is now offering a four-night package based at deluxe accommodation near the start line at the Bund in central Shanghai. The itinerary includes a welcome briefing, a half-day guided tour of the city, lunch at a local restaurant, race number collection at the expo, a warm-up run, pre-race dinner, and post-race celebration.
Bilingual staff from the Shanghai-based team will also be on-site throughout the event weekend in November.
Participants also have the option to add a three-night post-race extension to visit Hong Kong.
