VIA Atelier, a cycling concept store in London’s King’s Cross, has launched the Oakley-sponsored GRA-VIA – a new gravel event forming part of The London Cycle Festival.
Set for Sunday, June 22, 2025, GRA-VIA will cover a 120km route with 1,400m of elevation gain. Riders will head north from the UK capital to explore Hertfordshire’s bridleways, wooded lanes and open farmland.
The route includes eight timed segments tracked via Strava. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest rider through each segment, with a main prize for the overall best combined time.
While the route will be marked at key points, some self-navigation is required, with maps and GPX files sent to riders 48 hours before the event.
Refuelling stations will be available en-route, including an Oakley Village pop-up, and riders will be welcomed back with a post-ride pizza party at VIA Atelier.
GRA-VIA is part of the wider London Cycle Festival weekend on June 20–22, which includes the VIA Criterium around Coal Drops Yard. GRA-VIA entry is priced at £30 per rider.
