One Hundred, the endurance trail running series, has confirmed plans for an international expansion in 2026, following the conclusion of its 2025 World Championship Grand Final in Nova Trento, Brazil.
The 2026 season will see the series expand across continents, with events planned for the Middle East, Costa Rica, India, Europe, and South America. The event organiser stated it will also unveil new digital platforms, expanded broadcast coverage, and enhanced international participation pathways in early 2026.
According to João de Saldanha, Chief Executive Officer of One Hundred, “In 2026 and beyond, we’re expanding our international footprint, elevating the athlete experience and delivering innovations that will shape the future of endurance trail running.”
The 2025 World Championship Grand Final – the Sicoob Mons Ultra Trail – delivered a dramatic finish on the technical trails of Nova Trento from November 12–16, 2025, crowning the first-ever 200-mile, 100-mile, and 100km World Champions in the circuit. Athletes from 12 nations competed in the event.
Key results and operational data:
- 200-Mile Men’s Champion: Martin Perrier (FRA) with a time of 47:23:22.
- 200-Mile Women’s Champion: Francesca Canepa (ITA) with a time of 59:40:02.
The event focused on safety and reported zero serious rescue incidents, having been supported by an operational team of over 150 staff and volunteers.
One Hundred added that the grand final demonstrated the series’ growing media reach and appeal to sponsors, with the event generating 2.6 million Instagram views during the event week.
Attendance by Revista Trail Running, Latin America’s largest trail media outlet, and growing international athlete and sponsor interest were noted as factors leading into the 2026 championship cycle.
The One Hundred series, which focuses on 100km, 100-mile, and 200-mile races, aims to position itself as the world’s premier structured endurance trail championship.
