Event site planning platform OnePlan has announced a strategic partnership with Esri, a key player in geographic information system (GIS) software and location intelligence.
The collaboration will integrate OnePlan’s collaborative event planning software with Esri’s mapping, analytics, and datasets. The goal is to provide a seamless solution that offers sports event organisers smarter, more efficient tools to design safe, successful, and sustainable events.
The first phase of the integration is now live, allowing OnePlan customers to access a range of Esri maps directly within the OnePlan platform. Future phases will enhance functionality, offering customers deeper mapping and digital twin capabilities.
OnePlan notes that it has powered over 100,000 events and venues worldwide for customers such as World Triathlon, the Jockey Club, the Canadian Football League, and the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. According to the company, it saves event organisers up to 85% of planning time compared to traditional methods.
Through the new partnership, OnePlan’s cloud-based planning tools will become more accessible to Esri’s international customer base.
