Boulderthon has announced the return of lululemon as the presenting sponsor of the VIP experience for this year’s event on September 28, 2025.
This will be lululemon’s second year partnering with Boulderthon, and will feature new additions to the experience for Boulderthon’s 300+ VIP participants. Registration for Boulderthon remains open, with the marathon reportedly over 90% sold out, and the lululemon VIP Experience fully sold out.
Boulderthon and lululemon began their partnership ahead of the 2024 Boulderthon event, where they launched their ‘VIP Lounge’ and exclusive offerings for all VIP participants. The exclusive experience was seen to be a success for both parties, leading to the continuation of the partnership.
The 2025 VIP experience will take place throughout race day, beginning at the start line with a heated VIP lounge filled with snacks, comfy seating, no-wait restrooms and exclusive access to lululemon ambassadors.
Once VIP participants cross the finish line, they will have access to the VIP recovery zone, which will feature complimentary massages provided by PR Sports Lab, breakfast and refreshments. Other new and returning VIP experiences include VIP parking, a specially curated lululemon gift for each VIP member and special deals on lululemon gear throughout the race weekend.
“Our 2024 VIP Experience success is truly all thanks to the incredible team at lululemon,” said Alexa Squillaro, Event Director of Boulderthon.
“They’ve been such an amazing brand to partner with and we can’t wait to continue to grow this already flourishing program with them. As we keep elevating experiences for our participants, working with the quality-focused and experience-minded professionals at lululemon is a great match.”
Jared Bell, Director of North America Community West at lululemon, added “Community is at the heart of everything we do at lululemon, and we are always striving to create premium experiences for our guests.
“Boulderthon embodies the spirit of Colorado’s running community and we are inspired by its participants. We are looking forward to delivering a VIP experience that helps them feel their best.”
On top of providing pre- and post-race VIP experiences, lululemon will also be the official outfitter for all 2025 Boulderthon race pacers and serve as the presenting sponsor of the Final 40 Finishers. The Final 40 Finishers Presented by lululemon will recognize Boulderthon’s final 40 participants who cross the finish line, with the aim of providing an energetic atmosphere as well as gift bags to celebrate their accomplishments.
Boulderthon offers five distances for participants to take part in, the marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K and Kids Run. Boulderthon’s marathon and half marathon courses take participants through different landscapes set at the foothills of the Flatirons, with views of the Boulder Reservoir, Table Mountain and Haystack Mountain along their way.
The fast, flat course features limited elevation change and multiple straightaways, making for fast race day performances. The 10K course will run participants through the streets of Boulder showcasing the town, before leading them to Downtown Boulder for the finish on Pearl Street Mall.
The second annual Heart to Heart 5K by BCH features an all-road, fast and flat experience for all participants, allowing wheelchair athletes and those utilizing wheeled vehicles, such as duo runners, to take part in the event.
