Runna has been integrated into njuko‘s event registration platform, enabling event organisers to offer customised training plans to athletes during the sign-up process.
In a release, njuko notes that it processes over 4.5 million registrations annually and is used by a range of endurance event organisers. The new Runna x njuko integration allows njuko users to access Runna’s personalised plans for 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, and ultramarathon distances.
Currently in the process of being acquired by Strava, Runna offers training plans that also include strength work, mobility, Pilates, and injury prevention. The app uses AI and coaching input to tailor sessions to a runner’s fitness level, goals, and preferences.
According to njuko, organisers can drag and drop the Runna product into their event registration setup, with live data sharing allowing entrants immediate access to a training plan upon registration. Reporting tools also enable organisers and Runna to track participant activation.
The integration has so far reportedly been used in more than 50,000 registrations and will be extended to additional events supported by both companies. According to njuko, it offers a potential new revenue stream for event organisers, while giving entrants access to event-specific training support.
