Team XND, the new hybrid racing team sponsored by nutrition brand Xendurance, made history at HYROX Maastricht on September 19–21, 2025, by breaking two world records.
The team, which specialises in functional fitness, competed in front of a crowd at the MECC Maastricht venue in the Netherlands.
Ciaran Parkinson and his teammate Tony Revell broke the men’s Pro Doubles 35–39 age group world record with a time of 00:53:02, which also secured their qualification for the World Championships in Stockholm, Sweden, in June 2026.
In the mixed doubles, Sabine Von Salis and Guy Portlock set a new world record in the 45–49 age group with a time of 00:57:13. They also won the event outright.
There was further success in the Women’s Pro doubles with Team XND members Emily Heard and Sam Parsons winning the 50–54 age group in a time of 01:10:03.
Team XND members were also at the Hybrid Games in Glasgow last weekend, and will now move onto other HYROX events this month, September 26–28, in Oslo and Rome.
