Italy-based Elastic Interface has launched To Each Her Own – a new product range designed to offer personalised protection for female cyclists.
Developed in San Vendemiano in northern Italy, the initiative reflects the brand’s focus on anatomical tailoring and direct feedback from female riders.
The range includes three new pads, developed from detailed anthropometric studies and feedback gathered through ongoing engagement with female cyclists. Elastic Interface stated that the goal is to redefine in-saddle comfort through versatile solutions that reflect individual needs and riding styles.
Addressing anatomical diversity
Elastic Interface noted that while many brands offer ‘women’s versions’ of existing designs, the To Each Her Own project takes a deeper approach – with chamois pads shaped around the morphological and biomechanical diversity among female cyclists.
The company adds that preferences vary: some riders seek uniform pressure distribution, while others require targeted relief in specific areas. With this in mind, a modular approach has resulted in three distinct chamois options:
- WP1 – the Versatile Protector – Designed for road, gravel and MTB riders, this pad uses anthropometric mapping to deliver full perineal support and protection.
- WP2 – the Distance Champion – Featuring high-density inserts and pressure-relief zones, this option is intended for long-distance or ultra-distance cyclists.
- WP3 – the Comfort Specialist – With a lower-profile design, raised ischial padding and medium-density perineal support, WP3 prioritises softness and freedom of movement.
Elastic Interface stated that the To Each Her Own project is the first step in a longer-term strategy focused on personalised performance. The aim is to combine technology and rider insight to move away from one-size-fits-all designs and toward truly individualised solutions.
